AI CCTV equipment specifications
We sell x2 different grades of CCTV equipment, across both cameras and recorders: standard and specialist. Both grades are high-quality AI equipment, the main difference is that the specialist equipment is designed for specific requirements (e.g. facial recognition, ANPR) whereas the standard equipment is good for general usage.

For customers who have a specific need - e.g. facial recognition or long-range thermal detection - we customise solutions including specialised AI CCTV cameras. Each of these cameras have been designed for a single specific task, with an in-built AI-chip optimised for that single task - meaning it does one thing very well.
Facial recognition & people counting

AI functions: embedded with LPR algorithm inside the camera. Vehicle data structuring: license plate recognition; vehicle size; vehicle colour detection
Recorder options: standard or specialist
All our recorders (NVRs or DVRs) are AI-ready, with in-built AI chips to ensure optimised AI funtionality.
The main difference between the standard and specialist range is AI chip processing power - with the specialist range providing enough processing power to operate AI across ALL channels, and the standard range operating AI only across 2 channels.
Standard recorder spec (DVR or NVR)

Remote surveillance, live view and video play on PC, OSX and mobile phone app
Supports HDCVI/AHD/TVI/CVBS/IP video inputs upto 12 Mpx cameras on NVR and 6Mpx on DVR.
All models support H.264/.H265/Smart H.264+/Smart H.265+/MJPEG, H.265 auto switch encoding.
AI Functions include: 2 channel Perimeter Protection features (Tripwire and Intrusion with Smart Filter) with non-AI cameras. Up to 1 channel with human face recognition and stranger mode enabled on non-AI cameras.
Supports all-channel AI by camera: face detection and comparison, perimeter protection and SMD plus.
1 VGA/1 HDMI simultaneous video output by default, the maximum resolution of HDMI is 4K; and non-simultaneous video output is also supported, the maximum resolution is 1080P
All models support POS functionalities for retail settings.
Specialist recorder spec (NVR only)
Our specialist range matches the overall specifications above, but includes the following:
Improved AI performance over standard range - with more powerful AI-chips
AI Functions include: ALL channel Perimeter Protection features (Tripwire and Intrusion with Smart Filter) with non-AI cameras. Up to 2 channel human face recognition with non-AI cameras with up to 12 face pictures/sec processing and up to 10 face databases with 20,000 face images in total.
Smart search and App control
All our systems include Smart Search functionality, as well as remote app control. Smart Search enables you to easily search for 'historic events’, meaning that - for example - if you wanted to find out if someone entered your property at the weekend, you could easily check the specific events highlighted by the system rather than having to watch 48 hours of footage to spot the unauthorised activity.

All our CCTV equipment is interoperable, meaning you can add specialist cameras to standard recorders - and vice-versa - giving you the ability to design a system that best-suited for your requirements.
